About Angel Beats!
In a realm between life and death, 17-year-old Yuzuru Otonashi awakens with no recollection of his past. He soon discovers that this mysterious dimension takes the form of a high school, where the souls of those who died under unjust circumstances reside. Here, the students are united in their resentment towards God and have formed the Afterlife Battlefront, a rebellious group determined to defy their god-like student council president, Kanade Tachibana, also known as Angel. Led by the enigmatic Yuri Nakamura, the group recruits Otonashi to join their fight for control over their own destinies. However, Otonashi's curiosity gets the better of him, and he begins to secretly infiltrate the opposing side, seeking to understand the motivations behind Angel's actions and the true nature of their shared fate.
