In the peculiar Fumizuki Academy, students are sorted into classes based on their academic prowess, with the crème de la crème in A class and the struggling masses in F class. Akihisa Yoshii, despite his supposed intellectual gifts, finds himself at the bottom of the barrel in F class, surrounded by dilapidated facilities and outdated equipment. However, he's not alone in his misery, as his friend Yuuji Sakamoto and the enigmatic Mizuki Himeji, a genius in her own right, also ended up in the same class due to unforeseen circumstances.

Determined to improve their lot in life, F class rallies behind Yuuji, hatching a plan to take on the higher-tiered classes using the school's Examinations Summon Battle system. This unique system allows students to summon fantasy characters with abilities tied to their test scores, making for an all-out battle royale. As F class sets their sights on the top, they must navigate the challenges of academic and personal growth, all while confronting their own limitations and those of their classmates.
