As the team begins to prepare, their star setter Tobio Kageyama receives an invitation to the prestigious All-Japan Youth Training Camp, while Kei Tsukishima is selected for a special rookie camp within the Miyagi Prefecture. Meanwhile, Shouyou Hinata, fueled by a mix of frustration and determination, decides to take matters into his own hands and sneak into the same rookie training camp as Tsukishima.

Despite not being officially invited, Hinata seizes the opportunity to observe and learn from the best, taking on the role of ball boy and soaking up every detail of the game. As he watches the top players in action, he begins to refine his skills and develop a deeper understanding of the game, transforming his initial disappointment into a driving force for self-improvement.
