The discovery of mysterious bruises around her neck raises more questions than answers, leading Shinpei to question the official account of her death.

As Shinpei delves deeper into the truth, he's confronted with a series of bizarre occurrences that challenge the very fabric of reality. People vanish, and the island's dark past begins to unravel. Mio's recollections of an ancient folktale about "Shadows" – malevolent entities that signal an individual's impending demise – take on a sinister new significance.
