In the claustrophobic underworld of Lux, a labyrinthine city shrouded in perpetual darkness, the populace cowers under the iron grip of rival criminal factions. Their sole connection to the outside world is the lucrative mining of raffia, a rare resource that fuels the city's existence. This coveted substance is the key to the city's peculiar medical advancements, allowing citizens to replace bodily parts with cybernetic prostheses that defy the immune system.

The enigmatic Class, responsible for raffia production and research, wields significant influence through its proxy, Organo, led by the self-proclaimed visionary Keigo Oonishi, whose texhnolyzed legs seem to attune him to the city's hidden frequencies. As tensions simmer among the gangs, a mysterious figure, Kazuho Yoshii, begins to wreak havoc, sparking a maelstrom of violence and power struggles.

Amidst the chaos, two new players emerge: Ichise, a former boxer disfigured by Organo and now a cyborg thanks to the skilled hands of Eriko "Doc" Kamata; and Ran, a prophetic young florist who senses the city's impending doom. As Lux hurtles towards catastrophe, Ichise and Ran become entangled in a desperate bid to avert the city's downfall, amidst a backdrop of escalating madness and uncertainty.
