In a world beyond his own, Makoto Misumi finds himself thrust into a fantastical realm by a mysterious contract forged by his parents and a goddess years prior. However, upon meeting the deity, Makoto is deemed "unworthy" and stripped of his heroic title. As punishment, the goddess grants him the power to comprehend all languages except his native tongue, then banishes him to the unforgiving wasteland.

As Makoto navigates this alien environment, he discovers that his unique characteristics have awakened remarkable physical and magical abilities, making him a formidable force. He forges unlikely bonds with demihumans and mythical beings, who are drawn to his peculiarities and join him in building a harmonious community.

Despite his newfound success, Makoto remains driven to find fellow humans, a quest complicated by the goddess's edict prohibiting interactions with his kind. With his companions by his side, Makoto sets out to defy the goddess's decree and perhaps reshape the societal norms that have been imposed upon him.
